The awards recognised individuals and teams that had shown leadership, innovation and foresight in their contribution to ICT and businesses.
Judge Wendy Bussen said this year’s finalists were inspiring. “We recognise that high performing technology professionals, no matter where they are in their career path, have a positive impact on their employer, customers, suppliers and taxpayers.
“This year, we were inspired by the professionals who are leading projects to help young people engage in ICT and in the process are creating a pipeline of future talent.”
This included the Engaging Youth in ICT winners, OMG Tech and the Pam Fergusson Charitable Trust, and Emerging ICT Leader Robert Muller from DB Breweries. Foodstuffs South Island won the Executive Team of the Year award and Foodstuffs North Island CIO Peter Muggleston won the CIO of the Year Award.
